Gloucester to Provincetown Ferry
Service Discontinued!!!

During the summer months, there is now a daily ferry from Gloucester to Provincetown at the end of Cape Cod. Boston Harbor Cruises will operate the service from June 28th and will run the ferry until August 31st. The ferry departs from Cruiseport Gloucester at 8:30AM and lands at MacMillan Wharf after a 2 1/2 hour run. Passengers then have 5 1/2 hours to roam around P-Town before coming back to Gloucester at 4:30 PM.

Roundtrip tickets are $80 from Gloucester, and there are discounts for seniors and children 4-12. Bikes are welcome aboard for an additional charge. With gas prices as they are, and the usual traffic congestion getting to Cape Cod, the service is a fun and economical way to cross over Stellwagen Bank to visit the other Cape.
