Notes: Pawtuxet Cove is in the Northern section of Narragansett Bay (past Conimicut light house). The cove is well protected by breakwater. Entrance and cove were dredged in 2006 to 6 MLW. Tidal differences are about 3, apply tides for Newport. No regular launch service. Land your dinghy at Aspray Boat House or inquire with local boat yard [Pettis Boatyard], and explore Pawtuxet Village: Great breakfast cafes, restaurants, pizza, Asian take-out, bars and pubs, ice-cream, grocery, laundry, etc.
Mooring has two pennants and holds usually 35,000 lbs. sailing vessel. Inquire for availability and specific dates [e-mail] in July, August, and September. Preference for applicants with moorings to exchange.
