This painting measures 25"x 34" and is nicely framed. The medium is oil on board. J. Friedline was an relatively unknown artist from Rockport. Not much is known about him other that he studied art in Boston and spent his days painting still lifes, abstract and lovely water colors. (Anisquam Light is a one of his water colors listed on this art gallery main page.) The detail and colors in the painting are lovely and would make a lovely addition to any room. The detail on the blue and white urn is unique.
